Caribbean calcite is a combination of blue aragonite and brown or tan calcite that forms together in banded layers. The blue comes from the aragonite, the warm tones from the calcite, and the swirling patterns from the way these two minerals grew into each other over geological time. When shaped and polished into a sphere, those bands wrap around the surface like weather patterns on a globe. Every angle shows you something different.
This sphere has especially vivid blue tones with warm cream and tan banding woven throughout. There are small natural vugs scattered across the surface where tiny crystal cavities were exposed during polishing. These are not flaws. They are windows into the interior structure of the stone, and they add texture and character that a perfectly smooth sphere would not have.
It comes with a clear acrylic stand so it sits beautifully on a shelf, desk, or nightstand. Under natural light the blue deepens and the warm tones glow. It is the kind of piece that people pick up, turn slowly in their hands, and then do not want to put down.
In crystal healing traditions, Caribbean calcite is considered a deeply calming stone that combines the soothing energy of blue aragonite with the amplifying and clearing properties of calcite. It is associated with the third eye and crown chakras and valued for promoting relaxation, intuitive insight, and restful sleep. Many practitioners keep it on their nightstand or use it during meditation.
