Chrysanthemum Stone Tower — Tall Polished Black Tower with White Flower Inclusions, 10.5 Inch Statement Piece

She is the quiet one who turns out to have the best stories. Near black from across the room, and then you get close and there are flowers in her, white crystal sprays set into the dark stone like blossoms pressed into slate, several on each face, no two the same. The tower is polished to a soft sheen with a clean pointed top, and the flowers run right across the polished faces, so they show from every side.

She wants a bookshelf at eye level or the end of a console table, somewhere with a plain wall behind her so the flowers read. At about 10.5 inches tall and over three pounds she holds a corner on her own, and she looks especially good next to something living, a trailing plant or a branch in a vase. Dark stone, white flowers, green leaves. That is the whole arrangement.

Chrysanthemum stone is read in crystal tradition as the stone of good timing, the one for a person who is ready to bloom and wants a little nudge to do it. People keep it where they make plans and start things. The tower shape is read as a focus and a beacon, gathering the room's energy up to a point, so this is the piece for a desk you want to sit down at or a shelf you pass every morning. She is the one that makes you look twice, and then look closer.
