A natural citrine point rising out of a quartz and red clay matrix, sourced from a Congo auction and left exactly as it came from the earth. The main point glows a soft honey gold, glassy and gemmy, while smaller crystals crowd the base and pockets of rusty red clay still cling between them. Nothing here has been scrubbed clean or polished smooth. This is the stone the way the ground gave it up.
Citrine is the sunny one, long called the merchant stone and carried for abundance, optimism, and bright creative energy. It is tied to the solar plexus, the seat of confidence and personal will, and it has a warm, encouraging feel, the crystal you keep near where you work or dream up plans. Natural citrine like this, colored by the earth rather than by a kiln, is less common than the heat treated kind, and it tends to glow in a gentler, more golden way.
The red clay is part of the story, not a flaw to apologize for. It is the iron rich earth the crystal grew in, and on a natural specimen it reads as authenticity, a piece that was hand dug and never tumbled or treated into something generic.

What Makes This Piece Special
This is a natural, mine fresh specimen, untouched red earth and all. The contrast of the clear honey point against the rusty clay and frosted quartz is what makes it beautiful, and it is the kind of piece that starts a conversation on a shelf. One of a kind in the truest sense. Please note the tip of the main point is not perfectly pristine, a small natural imperfection that is simply part of its hand dug character.
Each crystal is a one of a kind natural specimen. Minor variations in color, texture, and formation are part of what makes your piece uniquely yours.
