Every one of these stones looks like it's been holding onto a secret for a hundred million years. Warm brown swirls, ancient patterns, little windows into a time when this rock was a living ocean floor. Now they're sitting in a glass jar on your windowsill, keeping a pothos cutting company while it grows new roots. Some things just work.

This is a complete plant propagation station filled with tumbled sea fossil jasper stones. The glass vase sits on a bamboo coaster, a cork ring holds your cutting in place while it roots, and the stones give those new roots something ancient and beautiful to wrap around. It's part fossil record, part living art, part crystal energy. And honestly, it's one of the prettiest ways to watch a plant come to life.

WHY SEA FOSSIL JASPER?

Sea fossil jasper — also called stromatolite jasper — is one of the oldest stones you can hold. These patterns aren't painted on. They're fossilized layers of ancient algae colonies that built up over millions of years in shallow seas that don't exist anymore. Every swirl is a geological chapter from a story that started before dinosaurs.

Metaphysically, it's a stone of deep grounding and ancient wisdom. Connected to the root chakra, sea fossil jasper carries the kind of patience that only something this old can teach. It's stabilizing and nurturing — the crystal version of a deep breath that reminds you everything moves at its own pace. Including your plant cuttings.

Pair it with a living plant growing through those ancient layers, and you've got something quietly profound on your shelf. Old earth energy meeting new growth. A reminder that patience isn't passive — it's how everything beautiful gets built.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Glass propagation vase with cork ring top
  • Bamboo coaster base

  • Burlap drawstring pouch (for the stones)
  • Wooden keepsake box with brass clasp

Plant and water not included. You'll need a cutting from a pothos, philodendron, monstera, or any plant that roots in water. (If you don't have one yet, this is a great excuse to finally ask your neighbor about that vine situation they have going on.)

HOW TO USE

  2. Fill the bottom with sea fossil jasper stones
  3. Add water until the stones are mostly covered
  4. Thread your cutting through the cork ring

This is a natural stone, not a factory product. You'll find small surface textures and subtle variations in color and pattern from stone to stone. That's not a flaw. That's a hundred million years of ocean history doing its thing.

Ships in the wooden box, ready to gift (or keep, we won't judge). Each set is carefully packed from Cypress, TX.
