Gentle Night is a caffeine-free herbal blend made for the space between the last thing on your list and sleep. Chamomile softens the edges. Lemon balm quiets. Lavender slows everything down just enough. Linden flower wraps the whole thing in something that feels like being tucked in. Together, they make a cup that doesn't knock you out. It lets you arrive at rest on your own terms.
The flavor is floral and honeyed with a clean, lemony brightness underneath. Not heavy, not medicinal, just gentle. The kind of tea that turns the last hour of your day into something you actually look forward to.
THE BLEND
Chamomile is the world's most beloved bedtime herb for a reason. It's warm, apple-sweet, and softly soothing in a way that feels like a hug. Lemon balm adds a bright, gentle citrus note that calms the mind without dulling it. Lavender brings its signature floral fragrance that promotes a sense of deep calm and ease. And linden flower finishes everything with something light, honey-sweet, and deeply relaxing. The perfect closing note for an evening cup.
HERB WISDOM
Every herb in this blend was chosen with intention. Here's what makes them special:
Chamomile is arguably the most trusted bedtime herb in human history. Used for over 5,000 years across Egyptian, Greek, and Roman traditions, chamomile has been treasured for its ability to promote relaxation and support restful sleep. The ancient Egyptians dedicated it to the sun god Ra for its golden, radiant appearance. Its gentle, apple-like sweetness (the name comes from the Greek for "earth apple") makes it as comforting to drink as it is to breathe in.
Lemon Balm has been cultivated since at least the Middle Ages, when Carmelite nuns created "Carmelite water" with it as a natural remedy for tension and nervous energy. A member of the mint family, lemon balm is known for its ability to promote a calm mind and support emotional balance. Paracelsus, the 16th-century physician, called it "the elixir of life." It adds a gentle citrus brightness that keeps this blend from feeling too heavy.
Lavender has been used in herbalism for over 2,500 years. The ancient Romans bathed in it (the name comes from the Latin "lavare," meaning "to wash"), and it's been a staple of European apothecaries ever since. Lavender is known for promoting a deep sense of calm and supporting the body's natural relaxation response. In this blend, it adds just enough floral depth to make every sip feel like an exhale.
Linden Flower (also called Tilia) has been a beloved herb in European herbalism since the Middle Ages. In France, "tilleul" is still one of the most popular evening teas, served after dinner as a gentle transition to sleep. It's known for its ability to promote relaxation, ease everyday tension, and support a peaceful mind. Its natural honey-sweetness makes it the perfect closing note for this blend.
PACKAGING
Each blend comes in a reusable glass apothecary jar with a natural cork lid. No plastic. We chose glass intentionally. It keeps your herbs fresher, looks beautiful on your shelf, and gets a second life as a spice jar, propagation vessel, or whatever your heart desires when the tea is gone. This is packaging you'll want to keep.
BREWING
1 tsp per 8oz water · 200°F · Steep 5, 7 minutes
Use a mesh strainer or tea infuser. This is a beautiful blend to steep a little longer. The chamomile and linden flower release more of their honey-sweet calm the more time you give them. Pour it, hold it, breathe it in before you sip.
