This is the kind of piece you end up carrying around the house. A polished chrysocolla freeform that fits in the palm, soft teal blue with a fine speckled texture, grown through with deep green malachite bullseyes ringed in lighter green. One face is all rings and swirls. Turn it over and the other face opens into a broad blue chrysocolla pocket edged in banded malachite, so the two sides feel like two different stones.
It is polished all over to a soft shine and has a flat, rounded bottom, and it comes on its own small clear acrylic pin stand that tips it up to face the room. Off the stand it fits in a hand.
Chrysocolla is read as a stone of calm speech and steady feelings, the one reached for when a hard conversation is coming or a room needs quieting, and it has a long association with women's wisdom and with teaching. Malachite is its bolder partner, the old protector, the stone people keep for guarding what matters and for clearing out whatever no longer belongs, tied to the heart, to courage, and to growth. Together they are taken as a pairing for the heart and the throat, strength on one side and softness on the other, which is fitting for a stone that shows a different face depending on how you turn it. The bullseye rings are read as a focusing pattern, a spot for the eye and the mind to rest.
