A polished agate freeform from Uruguay with a face full of fine brown druzy, the color of raw sugar, that glitters like it has been dusted with something. The crystals are tiny and even, so the whole face shimmers rather than sparkles in spots. The shell around it is smoky gray agate, polished glassy, with soft translucent edges where the light gets in.
It stands on a cut flat base, about three inches tall and nearly as wide, and sits comfortably in the palm. The back is polished smooth so it is handsome from every side.
Agate is read as a grounding stone, patient and steadying, built up one band at a time over ages. Druzy quartz is read as an amplifier, a field of small points that lifts the energy of the stone it sits in.
